Please come join us tomorrow, March 28th, 2017 at Poor Herbie's. Ten percent of all Poor Herbie's sales for the day will be donated to support the Madison team on the Law Enforcement United Tour.
Note that Law Enforcement United is a different organization from the Unity Tour. Law Enforcement United honors the fallen law officers and remember the survivors. They ride a similar route as the Unity Tour, but end at a different memorial.
Proceeds go to the organization COPS (concerns of police survivors) which benefits the families of officers killed in the line of duty. Amongs other things, COPS pays for survivors to come down during police week every year. It also pays for children of those survivors to attend a special camp every year.
Law Enforcement United also sends a portion of funds raised money to the Officer Down Memorial Page which lists the history of officers killed in the line of duty, and which acts as a place where survivors can connect with one another.
Please have a look below at some of the sights from last year's ride, which honored six Air Force Military Police that were killed in the line of duty (you can flick the images on a mobile to advance the slideshow).
And please come out and join us tomorrow!
